It is known that all devices that use electricity to work can be damaged or stop working with a faulty power supply. In this thesis, it is shown how a faulty power supply affects the operation of the Raspberry device and its sensors. In order to achieve the measurement result, the sensor and the device are connected to a source with a variable power source. In the practical part of the thesis, Raspberry Pi model 3, Sunfounder DS18b20 heat sensor, obstacle sensor and barometer connected to Voltcraft DPPS-60-10 were used. By reducing the voltage, the operating speed of the Raspberry device is visibly reduced, and the sensor gives temperature reading curves under constant conditions. In the practical part of thesis, ten different measurements for each sensor are presented. This proves that the power source is one of the most important items when performing precise measurements of the Raspberry Pi device. At the end of the thesis, a mathematical representation of measurement errors and deviations from a constant value is visible. The research results highlight the importance of careful power planning when using sensors with a Raspberry Pi device. Through proper power supply, it is possible to ensure reliable and accurate sensor readings, which is of great importance for the successful execution of projects and applications based on the Raspberry Pi platform
