This paper deals with conflicts and the possibilities of resolving them. The aim of this paper is to analyze how conflict start and show which are the causes of conflict and which methods of resolving conflict exist. In a business environment, it is impossible not to experience stress, and stress is the main trigger of conflict. The purpose of this paper is to show how conflicts affect an organization, what costs they cause, and what is the role of managers in all of this. Also, it is important to know that conflict is not an exclusively negative phenomenon. Conflicts in the organization are inevitable and need to be resolved successfully. The manager needs to work on his skills because his task is to establish peace in the work environment. The organization of work must be of high quality in order to know everyone's responsibilities. Content conflicts are desirable, and personal conflicts are not, because personal conflicts do not contribute to the work of the organization and emotions are involved in them. All conflicts leave consequences on employees, so working in such an environment has a bad impact on health. In the work environment, unfortunately, there is psychological harassment called mobbing. Any resolved conflict is a step forward, and unresolved will continue to come up in the future. On the example of Jadrolinija, we can see that not only individuals but also interest groups are involved in the conflict, and then it is difficult to resolve it without a third party. Sometimes a conflict cannot be resolved between the participants. The result of the work is that conflicts are inevitable but resolvable in many ways. In the ideal terms problems should not be covered up, but everything should be solved by talking.
