Abstract
Tržište informatičke tehnologije obilježeno je konstantim inovacijama. Kako bi organizacije opstale na tržištu koje zahtijeva stalne prilagodbe potrebno je izabrati metodu koja im najviše doprinosi, a jedna od njih je eksterni benchmarking. Eksterni benchmarking obuhvaća usporedbu organizacije s njezinim direktnim i najvećim konkurentima ili organizacijama na drugim tržištima koje se bave istom ili nekom drugom djelatnošću. Uspoređuju se proizvodi, usluge, procesi, udjeli na tržištu, stopa... More rasta, povrat na investirano, stupanj zadovoljstva kupaca, itd. Primjenom eksternog benchmarkinga na odgovarajući način ostvaruje se visoka razina uspješnosti. Visoka razina uspješnosti je ostvarena jer se nastoji od konkurenta dobiti ono što karakterizira njegovu uspješnost na tržištu. Prikupljanjem podataka organizacije dobivaju velike količine podataka koje zahtijevaju kvalitetno skladištenje. Najćešće korištene baze podataka koje organizacije koriste su skladišta podataka. Za otkrivanje novih znanja iz tih podataka primjenjuje se metoda rudarenja podataka. Primjenom rudarenja podataka organizacije dobivaju najvažnije informacije dostupne u njihovim bazama podataka koje su ključne za uspješnu primjenu benchmarkinga. Na tržištu informatičke tehnologije organizacija koja koristi eksterni benchmarking direktno se suočava sa svojim konkurentima. Prilikom istraživanja primjene eksternog benchmarkinga koristi se metoda analize slučaja u organizaciji Xiaomi. Analizom organizacije Xiaomi utvrđeni su načini pomoću kojih oni postaju jedna od vodećih organizacija na području informatičke tehnologije i to prvenstveno primjenom eskternog benchmarkinga. Uspješnom primjenom ove metode ostvaruju zadivljujuće poslovne rezultate koji mogu poslužiti drugim organizacijama kao primjer. Ovim radom prikazuje se kako određena organizacija može ostvariti velike poslovne rezultate detaljnom i uspješnom primjenom eksternog benchmarkinga. Less

Market of information technology is marked by constant innovations. The organizations which want to survive in a market that requires constant adjustments need to choose a method that contributes to most of them, and one of them is an external benchmarking. The external benchmarking includes comparison of the organization with its direct and strongest competitors, or organizations in other markets that deal with the same or other activity. They compare the products, services, processes,... More market shares, growth rates, return on investment, the level of customer satisfaction, and so on. By applying an external benchmarking in an appropriate manner, a high level of success is achieved. The high level of success is achieved because organization seeks to get of the competitors what characterizes its success on the market. By collecting data, organizations receive large amounts of data that require high-quality storage. The most commonly used databases that organizations use is data warehouse. For discovering new knowledge from these data, data mining methods are applied. By applying data mining organizations, the most important information available in their databases is given, which is crucial for the successful application of benchmarking. In the market of information technology, organization that uses external benchmarking directly confronts its competitors. During the research, the application of external benchmarking case study method is used in organization Xiaomi. The analysis of the organization Xiaomi sets out ways in which they become one of the largest organizations in the world, primarily by application of external benchmarking. The successful application of this method achieves stunning business results that can serve as an example to other organizations.This study shows how certain organization can achieve great business results by detailed and successful application of external benchmarking.
