Sažetak | Menadžment je sastavni dio suvremene poslovne organizacije. Ima tri osnovna zadatka: podizanje uspješnosti postojećeg biznisa, iznalaženje poslovnih potencijala i osiguranje budućnosti biznisu. Bavi se aktivnostima zvanima funkcije menadžmenta. To su: planiranje, organiziranje, menadžment ljudskih resursa, vođenje i kontrola. Prva i najvažnija funkcija menadžmenta je planiranje. Bitno je dobro isplanirati što će organizacija raditi jer od planiranja započinje svaki posao i to je temelj. Važnu ulogu ima vrhovni menadžment jer definira viziju, misiju i ciljeve bez kojih organizacija ne može učinkovito poslovati. Menadžment srednje razine planira zadatke pojednih organizacijskih jedinica, a operativni menadžment planira najjednostavnije svakodnevne zadatke unutar organizacije. Proces planiranja je složen. Sastoji se od analize okoline, definiranja vizije, misije, ciljeva, definiranja strategije i planova te njihove implementacije. Više je načina na koje se može planirati. Tradicionalnim načinima planiranja smatraju se planiranje odozgo prema dolje, planiranje odozdo prema gore te pregovaračko planiranje, dok je participativno planiranje suvremeni način planiranja. Metode planiranja podijeljene su na suvremene i klasične. Klasične metode planiranja su metoda predviđanja i metoda terminiranja. Suvremene metode su: scenarijsko planiranje, kontigencijsko planiranje, projektni menadžment i krizni menadžment. Predviđanje je metoda procjene događaja dok je terminiranje proces određivanja detaljne liste aktivnosti koje je potrebno provesti kako bi se ostvario cilj postavljen u organizacji. Za primjer iz prakse obrađeno je planiranje javne ustanove Visoke škole za menadžment u turizmu i informatici u Virovitici. |
Sažetak (engleski) | Management is an integral part of a modern business organization. It has three basic tasks: raising the success of an existing business, finding business potentials and securing the future of the business. It engages in activities called management functions and they are planning, organizing, human resource management, leadership, and control. It is important to plan well what the organization will do because every business starts with planning and this is the foundation. An important role has supreme management since it defines a vision, mission, and goals without which an organization can not function effectively.
Mid-level management plans the tasks of individual organizational units, and operational management plans the simplest of everyday tasks within the organization. The planning process is complex. It consists of an analysis of the environment, defining visions, missions, goals, defining strategies and plans and their implementing. There are more ways of planning. Traditional planning methods are considered top-down planning, top-up planning, and negotiation planning, while participatory planning is a modern way of planning. Planning methods are divided into modern and classical. Classical planning methods are prediction methods and termination methods. Contemporary methods include scenarios planning, contingency planning, project management and crisis management. Prediction is the method of estimating events while terminating is the process of determining a detailed list of activities that need to be implemented in order to achieve the goal set up by the organization. For example, the planning of a public institution, the High School of Management in Tourism and Informatics in Virovitica, was elaborated. |
